The HORIZON 12 Flex centrifuge is designed to satisfy the most diverse processing requirements of the routine lab, especially when space is tight. Program and save up to ten (10) custom time, RPM, and g-force settings or choose from three presets for chemistry, coag, and urine, with the easy-to-use interface and backlit digital display. The automatically locking lid flashes to indicate the status of each cycle for safer and more efficient processing, even in the noisiest lab. HORIZON’s durable materials and construction ensure years of maintenance-free performance.

The HORIZON 12 Flex features a clear shatter-proof lid that allows for safe sample observation and optical calibrations, a reinforced guard bowl, cool operation through unique design of the convection-based cooling system that protects samples even under the heaviest workloads, and a patented2-stage horizontal rotor that produces ideal horizontally separated samples.

Preset Cycles:

Preset 1: 3,500 RPM | 10 minutes | 1,800 x g
Preset 2: 3,200 RPM | 15 minutes | 1,500 x g
Preset 3: 1,800 RPM | 5 minutes | 500 x g

All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test the performance of all centrifuges and make sure the rotating assembly is properly balanced; the bearings, seals and gaskets on the spindle assembly are in good shape; and the controls work properly. If the centrifuge is refrigerated, we also test to make sure that the machine reaches and hold temperature properly. All tolerances are measured and the exterior and interior of all units are fully cleaned. If the unit is being purchased with a rotor, we test the rotor/centrifuge combination together.

Please bear in mind that the equipment shown is currently in storage in our warehouse and that in addition to testing each machine we will clean all the equipment thoroughly prior to shipment. We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit.
