Centrifuge 5430 R combines the best features of a microcentrifuge (small footprint) and multipurpose centrifuge (versatility) in one instrument.

Additional Eppendorf QuickLock centrifuge rotors are available directly from Eppendorf, including a 16-place rotor for Eppendorf Tubes 5.0 mL, a swing-bucket rotor (24 x 1.5 mL or 2.0 mL), along with rotors for microplates, test strips, and 15 or 50 mL conical tubes. The Eppendorf 5430R features soft-touch closure for ergonomic operation; menu-driven, multi lingual operation menu (English, German, French, Spanish) with large backlit display; the ability to saves up to 50 user-defined programs with 5 program keys for easy access to routine programs; the FastTemp pro control program which is for fast pre-cooling and maximum temperature accuracy inside the rotor; and the ECO shut-off can be programmed to engage after 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours of nonuse for up to 84 % energy savings and extended compressor life.

All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test the performance of all centrifuges and make sure the rotating assembly is properly balanced; the bearings, seals and gaskets on the spindle assembly are in good shape; and the controls work properly. If the centrifuge is refrigerated, we also test to make sure that the machine reaches and hold temperature properly. All tolerances are measured and the exterior and interior of all units are fully cleaned.  If the unit is being purchased with a rotor, we test the rotor/centrifuge combination together.

Please bear in mind that the equipment shown is currently in storage in our warehouse and that in addition to testing each machine we will clean all the equipment thoroughly prior to shipment. We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit.
