The Labconco FreeZone 2.5 features a PTFE coated collector coil and chamber and is built with a 1/3 hp refrigeration system designed for light sample loads. The upright stainless steel collector coil removes a maximum of 2 liters of water in 24 hours and holds 2.5 liters of ice before defrosting is necessary. The LCD display shows set up and operating parameters as well as alarm messages and total number of hours since refrigeration and vacuum were serviced. Other features include audible/visual alarm for abnormal system event (power failure, improper line voltage supply, collector temperature above -40° C, moisture in collector, and service vacuum pump; a patented moisture sensor; a vacuum control and break valve; a RS-232 port; one button automatic refrigeration and vacuum start up with manual overrides.

Most of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.
