  • Up to 24 steps in program mode
  • Internal heat chamber dimensions 12 inches x 14 inches x 6 inches

The Fisher model 650-58 furnace provides microprocessor controlled heat at temperatures between 50°C and 1125°C (90° to 2057°F).    Capable of up to 24 steps in program mode, a soak period of up to 23 hours 59 minutes and 59 seconds can be inserted between any two successive ramps.  The digital display provides temperature and control readouts and LED indicators identify when heat is being applied or a fault is encountered.

The furnace chamber is molded from alumina silicate ceramic fibers for low thermal mass resulting in fast heat-up and cool down times.  The unusually low external case temperatures enhance safety when working around the unit and the ventilated base prevents damage to the bench or countertop. The electric resistance heating elements ensure extended service life even in atmospheres surrounding high sulfur coal and coke samples.
