Coy Labs InVivo Hypoxic Cabinet System

  • InVivo Cabinet Model 60
  • For animal studies
  • Filters gaseous waste
  • O2 control range from 1 -100%
  • 90-day warranty

The Coy InVivo Hypoxic Cabinet System is the only system of its type that is a hermetically sealed chamber and allows continuous control of oxygen. This hypoxic chamber allows animals to live at reduced or elevated O2 levels. The system features the ability to change the O2 levels between multiple set points in increments of 0.1%. Users need only to supply a gas source for nitrogen and oxygen. The system has an advance controller and sensor to precisely control your needs.

This Coy Labs InVivo Hypoxic Cabinet System is ideal for long-term studies or high numbers of animals. It features the Coy Animal Filtration System to remove gaseous waste via a closed-loop circuit with a pump that draws the chamber atmosphere out through the filters (CarbO2Lime and activated carbon) and returns it to the chamber. Sealed quick disconnects enable filter changes without compromising the environment.

The InVivo Hypoxic Cabinet System has atmospheric regulation in the form of four compact dehumidifiers, which provide an easy-to-maintain way to remove moisture without using a desiccant. They operate as a simple “cold wall” to condense moisture form the air, while drains remove excess moisture from the chamber. Humidity from respiration should be controlled at least to non-condensing levels to provide an atmosphere that protects equipment and the sensors from condensation and is comfortable for the animals and users. In addition, it also has an atmosphere filter system that controls filters contamination particles of 0.3 microns and larger. This is done through a standard HEPA filter, which receives the chamber’s air drawn bay a vacuum pump and returns it to the chamber. The filter sits outside the chamber and can be changed without compromising the integrity of the chamber’s seal.

Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests, please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.

The photos above are representative. Please bear in mind that the equipment shown is currently in storage in our warehouse and that in addition to testing each machine we will clean all the equipment thoroughly prior to shipment. We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit. At your request, we can provide photos of the equipment in your order after it has been tested and cleaned.
