The low-profile design of the VWR Cooling Thermal Shake Touch minimizes the unit’s footprint on the bench. The LCD touch screen enables faster input of temperature, speed, and time, which can all be viewed at once. Display features on-screen help topics with operational tips and touch screen is compatible with rubber gloves used in labs. USB port can transfer information to a flash drive for data logging, program storage, and software updates. Program control capabilities allow user programmable operation for automated use plus storage of five separate 5-step programs. Adjustable temperature ramp rate feature separately defines the heating and cooling rate in increments of 0.5 degrees/min. For maximum temperature accuracy, the single point calibration procedure allows the user to calibrate at 6 distinctly defined temperatures. Though the unit can process an array of sample sizes in various VWR Blocks (sold separately), the Cooling Thermal-Shake Touch conveniently and effectively operates with non-VWR Blocks. The unit is equipped with a pulse mode feature for quick vortex applications.

The VWR Cooling Thermal-Shake Touch has numerous innovative safety features that support consistent operation and ensure effective workplace safety. Constructed from a high-quality heat- and chemical-resistant polymer, the unit’s housing remains cool to the touch throughout normal operating temperatures. A maximum temperature limiting function ensures the temperature will not exceed user defined limits, allowing user control of temperature sensitive samples. A hot-top warning light will illuminate when the temperature reaches 40 °C, and will remain lit until the temperature drops below 40 °C. In timed mode, an alarm will sound if the timer reaches zero, or if set point temperature is reached. Additionally, the heat function will automatically shut off if the unit recognizes an internal issue. The unit’s enhanced electronics, dual temperature sensors, and audible and visible alarms provide users with both safe and accurate results.
The easy-to-use, 4.3” color LCD touch screen allows users to save and visibly track progress through the live status bar for five user defined programs each with 5 individual steps. The unit’s enhanced electronics and dual temperature sensors provide accurate, dependable temperature settings across the operating range.
All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.
