The Kewaunee Supreme 4 foot fume hood is a solid design based on rigid frame construction and is ideal for general laboratory use. Lined with Kewaunee’s Modified Epoxy Resin lining and adjustable baffles, the bench top has a cup sink slot in the left rear corner. The large counterbalanced sash of ¼ inch safety glass opens 40 inches wide and 27 inches high for easy access to the work area. The unit is currently plumbed for gas, air and cold water and a fourth valve is installed but not plumbed, labeled for vacuum. Dual socket power receptacles are mounted on each side of the case along with an airflow alarm. A single overhead fluorescent light fixture illuminates the work station. Exhaust is ducted from a single 12 inch round fitting from the middle of the top panel.

Interior workspace dimensions are: 40 inches wide by 25.5 inches deep by 41 inches high. Total external dimensions are 48 inches wide by 36 inches deep by 60.5 inches high which includes the height required for a fully raised sash.

Most of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians inspect all hoods to make sure that the baffles are present and intact, the interior lights are functioning, and that the sash is intact and runs smoothly on the tracks along with the counterweights. We can also provide information on the fixtures installed on each hood.

We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit.
