The Quincy Lab 20AF mechanical convection oven has a maximum temperature of 232°C and has a chamber volume of 1.14 cubic feet. These mechanical convection ovens are designed to meet the laboratory needs of industry, research organizations and schools. Well-crafted and versatile, they are used for drying, baking, sterilizing. evaporating, heat treating, annealing and testing. Exteriors are painted light gray and have a hard, scratch-resistant hammer finish, and have heavy steel double-wall construction.

Workspace is insulated from the outer cabinet with one inch of high-density mineral wool, and interiors are made of corrosive-resistant aluminized steel. The control panel is equipped with an illuminated ON-OFF rocker switch and a heat/cycle pilot light, and the temperature is controlled by an automatic Hydraulic thermostat. Temperature uniformity is greatly improved by a perforated heat shield which absorbs radiant heat and distributes it more evenly.

All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test ovens using a calibrated digital chart recorder to verify the accuracy of temperature controls and readouts and run the unit under vacuum to ensure chamber integrity. We typically leave an oven under vacuum for 24 hours to make sure the pressure holds. We replace any hardware or parts as is necessary and clean all incubators thoroughly prior to shipment.
