The 4E’s USA MultiEX 016 is an automated nucleic acid extraction and purification system which can process up to 16 samples per run. Utilizing Magnetic Bead Separation technology, the Nucleic Acid Extractor has the capability of extracting and purifying nucleic acids from a variety of biological samples, such as whole blood, viruses, tissues, plants, animals, fungi, bacteria, cultured cells, swabs, feces, blood cards, etc.

MultiEX 016 features lightweight and compact design, user-friendly touchscreen interface and excellent mixing capability. It can be powered by a 24V external battery, enabling mobile on-site nucleic acid extraction. It is equipped with UV disinfection system to eliminate cross-contamination between runs.

The system includes multiple heating modules with individual temperature control to ensure optimal temperature accuracy during lysis and elution steps. This allows for precise temperature control and eliminates the risk of overheating or underheating during the extraction process, which can lead to degradation of nucleic acid and poor results.

The MultiEX 016 is fully automated, reducing the need for manual intervention and minimizing the risk of contamination. This allows for reliable and reproducible results, even when processing large numbers of samples. The system also has an auto-check function that ensures the correct positioning of the 96-well plate and magnetic rods, further reducing the risk of errors.
