The Edwards E-Lab-2 Vacuum Pump is a complete laboratory pumping system, which has a two-stage, rotary vane vacuum pump. An oil mist filter is fitted to the outlet of the pump, to prevent the discharge of oil mist. An inlet catchpot is fitted to the pump inlet to minimize the ingress of condensable vapors into the pump.
The E-Lab-2 has a gas ballast oil return assembly which continuously returns oil trapped in the mist filter to the pump. The vacuum pumping mechanism is oil sealed. You can inspect the level and condition of the oil in the oil-box through the sight-glass. Diagrams on the side panels and on the oil change tag give guidance on when you should change the oil.
All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.
