AirClean Systems 600 Series 4’ UPUV Class 1 Biological Safety Workstation
Model AC648UPUV
UVTect Automatic Safety Controller
Digital UV light timer :01-59 minutes
UV and fluorescent lights
90-day warranty
The AC600 Series UPUV workstation is designed to safely handle biological samples as well as being a safe area to open small packages. The UPUV workstation protects the operator from exposure to airborne pathogens and provides UV-C light for decontamination of materials and the work area. The UPUV workstation uses proven HEPA technology for capturing potentially harmful toxins.
The main chamber of each AC600 Series UPUV workstation is constructed from durable polycarbonate that allows complete 360° visibility. The overlapping sash, a critical design safety feature, prevents airborne contaminates from escaping the workstation in the event an unknown substance is found. The polycarbonate construction provides a natural barrier from the UV-C ray used to decontaminate the workstation.
The AirClean AC648UPUV features UVTect microprocessor controller, UV and fluorescent lights, seamless plastic design -no joints or gaps in construction, lab event timer, digital UV light timer from :01 to 59 minutes, and an access port for electrical cords. It also has an Automatic sash switch that turns blowers off when sash is closed, maintaining an air barrier; a sash safety switch automatically turns off UV light and activates the blower when sash is raised; and a low airflow alarm warns the user both visually and audibly.
Most of our equipment
is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.
The photos above are representative. Please bear in mind that the equipment shown is currently in storage in our warehouse and that in addition to testing each machine we will clean all the equipment thoroughly prior to shipment. We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit. At your request, we can provide photos of the equipment in your order after it has been tested and cleaned.
