The Alcatel 2008A vacuum pump is an oil-sealed rotary vane pump with a pumping speed of 7 cfm and an ultimate pressure of 1 x 10^-4 Torr. Alcatel 2008 pumps are dual stage mechanical pumps that can be used to obtain a medium vacuum (up to 10^-3 mbar) or in pumping assemblies to back a diffusion pump or turbomolecular pump.

The 2008A vacuum pump is a rotary vane pump with a 1/3 hp motor. This vacuum pump is for general purpose applications and can be used in laboratories or industry. Typical applications include: vacuum distillation, epoxy degassing, mass spectrometry, freeze drying and others.

Most of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.

We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit.
