The Avestin EmulsiFlex-C3 is a lab-scale, electric motor-driven high-pressure homogenizer designed for rapid and efficient particle reduction. It reduces particles and droplets from micron to nanometer sizes with remarkable speed and precision.

Using a dynamic homogenizing valve, the EmulsiFlex-C3 ensures that samples are processed at a consistent homogenizing pressure. This consistent pressure significantly enhances performance by producing highly uniform liposomes and microemulsions with a narrow particle size distribution.

Avestin C3 Homogenizer – Features

High-pressure homogenization effectively reduces liposomes and emulsions from microns to nanometer sizes while ensuring efficient cell disruption. By rupturing most cells in a single pass, this method minimizes over-processing and protects delicate proteins from damage. The electric motor-driven pump generates homogenizing pressures of up to 30,000 psi (207 MPa), enabling precise and reliable processing.

With a capacity of up to 3 liters per hour, the device maintains a consistent flow rate, regardless of pressure. Additionally, it handles sample volumes as small as 10 mL, offering flexibility for both small-scale and larger applications.

This Avestin EmulsiFlex-C3 is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications.

While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run.
