The Azure 200 is a user-friendly gel documentation imaging system designed for various applications. It features a dual-wavelength UV transilluminator (302 nm and 365 nm) for capturing ethidium bromide-stained DNA gels, as well as blue light imaging. The system automatically keeps gel images in focus, regardless of gel size, and offers high-resolution imaging with a 5.4-megapixel camera. Safe dye detection is achieved using EPI Blue LEDs, reducing background noise. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and USB, making it an affordable choice for routine DNA and protein gel imaging.

Imaging with infrared dyes offers signal stability and low background fluorescence. Additionally, imaging with NIR dyes allows you to study multiple proteins in a blot, even if those proteins overlap in molecular weight.

The Azure 200 imaging system includes the following key components:

• Cabinet – The cabinet is a light tight image station. It includes the camera and lens, light sources, filter wheel, integrated tablet, and USBs for data collection.
• Camera – High resolution camera, preinstalled in the system.
• UV Transilluminator – The UV illuminator provides 302nm and 365nm trans illumination. It is mounted on a pull-out tray.
• EPI LEDs – The LED module allows you to take Blue Light and Color images.
• Filter Wheel – The 7-position filter wheel is automated. It includes the standard orange filter for most UV fluorescent applications, and additional Red, Green, Blue, and/or IR filters for multichannel systems.
• Integrated Computer – The touch screen PC is completely integrated for system control and image acquisition.
• Black Tray – Stored in the front door, the Black Tray (also called Blot Tray) is required for imaging all blots. For fluorescent blots, it is placed on the UV transilluminator. For Chemi blots, it can be placed on the UV transilluminator, or on the chemi shelf in the cabinet.
• Trans White Table – The Trans White Table can be plugged into the system with the cable behind the UV transilluminator. This table is placed on top of the UV transilluminator and provides an even light source that can be used for Coomassie imaging. The Trans White Table will only turn on when the system door is closed.
• USB Ports – There are 3 USB ports for data transfer. One located on the front panel, and two on the lower right side of the cabinet.

This Azure 200 gel imaging workstation is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.

We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit.
