The strengths of a Binder ED series drying chamber include routine drying and sterilization tasks up to 300°C. Thanks to the natural convection, all thermal processes which use this drying chamber are highly efficient. The ED series ensures fast, uniform drying. The key benefits of the ED 400 are uniform drying conditions thanks to APT.line technology; identical test conditions throughout the chamber interior independent of sample size and quantity; and outstanding thermal insulation that saves operation costs.

The ED 400 features a temperature range from ambient + 5°C to 300°C; natural convection; adjustable exhaust air flap; a controller with timer functions; 2 chrome-plated racks; and a class 2 independent adjustable temperature safety device with visual alarm.

Most of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test ovens using a calibrated digital chart recorder to verify the accuracy of temperature controls and readouts and run the unit under vacuum to ensure chamber integrity. We typically leave an oven under vacuum for 24 hours to make sure the pressure holds. We replace any hardware or parts as is necessary and clean all incubators thoroughly prior to shipment.
