The refurbished Büchi F-105 Recirculating Chiller delivers precise, energy-efficient cooling for laboratories seeking dependable performance at a fraction of the cost of new equipment. Designed to integrate seamlessly with Büchi rotary evaporators and other lab systems, the F-105 provides consistent temperature control, reduced solvent loss, and sustainable operation—all in a compact footprint.
With a cooling range of -10 °C to +25 °C, the F-105 enables accurate temperature regulation for evaporation, condensation, and sample protection. Its stable cooling performance ensures reproducible results across a wide range of laboratory workflows.
Delivering up to 390 W cooling capacity at 10 °C, the F-105 is optimized for use with rotary evaporators and similar systems, ensuring efficient condensation and reduced processing time.
Eliminate continuous water consumption with a closed-loop recirculating system. The F-105 significantly reduces water usage and lowers operating costs while minimizing environmental impact.
Engineered for compatibility with systems like the Rotavapor® R-100, the F-105 enhances distillation efficiency and reduces solvent emissions through optimized cooling performance.
With a 3-liter reservoir and small footprint, the F-105 is ideal for laboratories with limited bench space while still delivering powerful cooling performance.
Built-in standby functionality reduces energy consumption when the unit is not actively in use, helping labs lower operating costs without sacrificing readiness.
Applications include rotary evaporation, solvent recovery, chemical synthesis workflows, analytical and pharmaceutical labs, academic and research institutions, and more.

A recirculating chiller provides controlled cooling for laboratory equipment such as rotary evaporators, condensers, and analytical instruments. It replaces tap water cooling with a closed-loop system, improving efficiency and consistency.
The F-105 eliminates water waste, provides stable temperature control, and improves condensation efficiency—leading to faster processes and reduced solvent loss.
Yes. Refurbished units from American Instrument Exchange are thoroughly inspected, tested, and restored to ensure reliable operation comparable to new equipment.
It delivers up to 390 W at 10 °C, making it suitable for most standard rotary evaporation and laboratory cooling applications.
Refurbished equipment offers substantial upfront savings while delivering comparable performance, allowing labs to allocate budget to other critical needs without sacrificing quality.
Yes, all equipment from American Instrument Exchange comes with a warranty.
Used/reconditioned/refurbished equipment is tested to make sure it operates to the manufacturer's specifications and comes with a 90-day warranty (unless otherwise noted). New equipment comes with a warranty from the manufacturer.
Testing requirements vary across all the equipment categories we sell. Temperature controlled units are tested with NIST traceable probes and data loggers. Gaskets, external housing, glass, handles, controls and control screens are all thoroughly inspected for integrity and functionality.
We test all equipment using the manufacturer's parameters and specifications to confirm that the unit operates properly.
We can ship products both nationally and internationally using a well-established network of transporters. Smaller items will ship via UPS. Larger equipment will be palletized and shipped either LTL or air-ride, depending on the specific equipment and/or delivery requirements.
American Instrument Exchange will accept the return of any product that is not working as represented and could not be replaced or repaired to the customer's satisfaction during the warranty period. Customers who cancel orders after refurbishing has begun will be subject to a cancellation and restocking fee of between 20% and 40%.
