The Darwin ST030-AA Stability Refrigerator is commonly used for:
Pharmaceutical stability studies
ICH stability testing
Shelf-life evaluation
Product conditioning
Quality assurance testing
Controlled refrigerated storage
Biotechnology research
Clinical laboratory studies
Medical device validation
Food and beverage testing
Agricultural research
Industrial environmental testing
Many laboratories pair the Darwin ST030-AA with CO₂ incubators for cell culture applications, ultra-low freezers for long-term sample preservation, biosafety cabinets for sterile sample preparation, and centrifuges for sample processing prior to stability testing.
The Darwin ST030-AA is ideally suited for pharmaceutical manufacturers, biotechnology companies, contract testing laboratories, universities, medical device manufacturers, food and beverage laboratories, clinical research organizations, and quality assurance departments performing long-term refrigerated stability studies. Its large-capacity chamber and highly stable operating conditions make it particularly valuable for laboratories working under FDA, USP, ICH, or other regulated testing protocols.
The Darwin ST030-AA combines precise refrigerated temperature control with excellent chamber uniformity to support demanding laboratory applications. Operating between 1°C and 15°C, the chamber provides an ideal environment for stability testing without exposing samples to freezing temperatures. The digital PID controller maintains ±0.2°C temperature stability, while carefully engineered airflow promotes ±0.7°C chamber uniformity, helping laboratories achieve accurate, repeatable results throughout extended testing cycles. Combined with its spacious 24 cubic foot interior and durable laboratory construction, the ST030-AA is an excellent choice for organizations requiring dependable refrigerated environmental control.
The 619-liter (24 cubic foot) chamber of the Darwin ST030-AA provides generous capacity for laboratories performing long-term refrigerated stability studies, environmental conditioning, and regulated product storage. Its spacious interior is ideal for pharmaceutical products, biologics, vaccines, medical devices, packaging materials, nutraceuticals, food and beverage samples, agricultural specimens, and research materials requiring controlled refrigerated conditions.
The chamber includes six adjustable PVC-coated wire shelves, allowing laboratories to configure the interior for a variety of product sizes while maintaining excellent airflow throughout the cabinet. Proper spacing between samples promotes uniform temperature distribution and helps ensure consistent environmental conditions during extended testing protocols, improving the repeatability and reliability of stability studies.
The Darwin ST030-AA was engineered for continuous operation while maintaining precise refrigerated conditions with efficient energy use. Its insulated cabinet, digital PID controller, and mechanical refrigeration system work together to minimize temperature fluctuations while reducing unnecessary compressor cycling during long-term operation.
Operating within a refrigerated range of 1°C to 15°C, the ST030-AA offers an energy-efficient alternative to freezer storage for applications that require controlled cooling without subzero temperatures. Routine maintenance, including condenser cleaning, door gasket inspection, and periodic calibration verification, helps maximize performance while extending the life of the refrigeration system.

The Darwin ST030-AA is designed for pharmaceutical stability studies, ICH testing, product conditioning, quality assurance, and other laboratory applications requiring precise refrigerated environmental control.
A stability refrigerator is specifically engineered to maintain highly consistent temperatures and chamber uniformity during long-term testing. While a standard laboratory refrigerator is designed primarily for storage, the ST030-AA provides the stability and repeatability required for regulated pharmaceutical and research applications.
The chamber is commonly used for pharmaceutical products, biologics, vaccines, medical devices, nutraceuticals, packaging materials, food and beverage products, agricultural samples, and research materials requiring controlled refrigerated conditions.
Temperature uniformity helps ensure that every sample within the chamber experiences the same environmental conditions regardless of shelf location. This is especially important for long-term stability studies where consistent exposure is necessary to generate accurate and reproducible data.
