The FOTO/UV 21 provides exceptional performance. These compact transilluminators save valuable bench space, are easy to maneuver and have an optimized filter glass area with uniform illumination. It is uniquely designed with a two-position control device offering you both analytical and preparative mode settings. The analytical mode provides the nanogram level sensitivity that has distinguished all FOTODYNE 312 nm DNA transilluminators.

This unit comes with the FOTO/Analyst Apprentice hood for documenting agarose and PAGE gels, and a 5-inch TFT-LCD monitor. The hood stands 13” tall and has a 2” x 2” x 1.5”H camera mount with a 1.75” aperture. CAMERA NOT INCLUDED. The Foto/UV-21 also comes with a protective cloth cover and 4 extra bulbs.

Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests, please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.

The photos above are representative. Please bear in mind that the equipment shown is currently in storage in our warehouse and that in addition to testing each machine we will clean all the equipment thoroughly prior to shipment. We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit. At your request, we can provide photos of the equipment in your order after it has been tested and cleaned.
