The versatile, affordable IKA RW 16 Basic overhead mixer is ideal for mixing volumes up to 2.5 gallons and viscosities up to 10,000 cps (approximately the viscosity of honey). Speed ranges from 40 to 1200 rpm with stepless speed control allows for a variety of applications. The through-shaft design permits adjustment of shaft length and impeller depth—allows you to place or remove mixing vessels without repositioning the mixer. The motor and drive unit are conveniently integrated into a compact aluminum and thermoplastic housing with easy-to-use controls. The quiet, fan-cooled motors feature thermal overload shut-off, and an efficient heat-dissipating design to ensure a long service life. Motors are maintenance-free and are rated for continuous duty.

This overhead stirrer is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.
