Refurbishment and Testing Process

At American Instrument Exchange, each refurbished refrigerated circulator is inspected and evaluated by our technicians prior to shipment. Testing procedures may include verification of refrigeration performance, heater operation, temperature stability, circulation pump performance, controller functionality, display operation, safety alarms, low-liquid protection, electrical safety testing, and overall operational evaluation. When practical, the unit is operated through both heating and cooling cycles to verify proper performance throughout its operating range. Components showing excessive wear are serviced or replaced as needed to help ensure dependable laboratory performance. Final cleaning and inspection are completed before packaging and shipment.

Shipping and Installation Considerations

The Julabo FP50-HP should be installed on a stable laboratory floor or bench with adequate clearance for airflow around the refrigeration system. Buyers should verify electrical compatibility before installation and use only Julabo-approved heat transfer fluids appropriate for the desired operating temperature range. When connected to external equipment, properly insulated tubing is recommended to maximize temperature stability and system efficiency. The circulator is carefully packaged to protect the refrigeration system, circulation pump, controller, and electronics during shipment.
