Refurbishment and Testing Process

At American Instrument Exchange, each refurbished refrigerated circulator is inspected and evaluated by our technicians prior to shipment. Testing procedures may include verification of refrigeration performance, heater operation, circulation pump performance, temperature stability, controller functionality, display operation, alarm systems, electrical safety testing, and overall operational evaluation. Whenever practical, the unit is operated through both heating and cooling cycles to verify proper performance throughout its operating range. Components showing excessive wear are serviced or replaced as needed to help ensure dependable laboratory performance. Final cleaning and inspection are completed before packaging and shipment.

Shipping and Installation Considerations

The Julabo FP89-HL/TK should be installed on a stable laboratory floor with adequate ventilation around the refrigeration system. Buyers should verify electrical compatibility before installation and use only Julabo-approved low-temperature heat transfer fluids suitable for ultra-low temperature operation. When used for external circulation, insulated tubing is recommended to maximize temperature stability and reduce heat loss. Because of the unit's size and weight, shipment is made via freight, and appropriate material-handling equipment should be available during installation.

Related Laboratory Equipment

Laboratories purchasing ultra-low refrigerated circulators often also require jacketed glass reactors, rotary evaporators, laboratory chillers, analytical balances, water baths, freeze dryers, centrifuges, and laboratory freezers. American Instrument Exchange offers a wide selection of refurbished laboratory equipment to support pharmaceutical development, analytical chemistry, biotechnology research, cryogenic testing, and industrial laboratory applications.
