The Centrivap 7810010 combines advanced microprocessor control and efficient design to enhance evaporation processes while preserving sample integrity. Its centrifugal motion reaches speeds of up to 1725 RPM, eliminating bumping and foaming often caused by vacuum application. This ensures maximum recovery of trace solutes, even in sensitive applications. An automatic vacuum release valve adds further protection by preventing sample loss during power failures or before the rotor stops.
Safety and precision are prioritized with a lid latch featuring a safety sensor that locks the lid during rotor operation and prevents startup with an open lid. A built-in vacuum delay ensures smooth operation by allowing the rotor to reach speed before applying the vacuum. The corrosion-resistant sample chamber accommodates accessory rotors, making it compatible with a variety of sample tubes for added flexibility.
The microprocessor-controlled 300-watt heater accelerates evaporation with adjustable heat settings ranging from OFF to 100°C in one-degree increments. Users can store up to three custom programs with Quick-Start buttons, while the intuitive LCD display provides clear prompts for setting parameters. It also displays program details, including temperature, heat time, run time, and Heat Boost status for precise monitoring.
Paired with the Cold Trap 7460020, the system efficiently collects evaporated liquids, safeguarding accessory vacuum pumps and the lab environment from corrosive vapors and fumes. This combination ensures reliable and safe operation for demanding evaporation applications.
This Labconco Centrivap is used and reconditioned. Our expert technicians meticulously test every centrifuge to ensure optimal performance and reliability, leaving no detail overlooked. They thoroughly balance the rotating assembly, inspect the bearings, seals, and gaskets, and confirm the proper functioning of all controls.
For refrigerated centrifuges, they verify the unit reaches and maintains the desired temperature accurately. All tolerances are carefully measured, and both the interior and exterior are fully cleaned for a polished finish. When sold with a rotor, technicians test the rotor and centrifuge combination together for seamless operation.
Rotors undergo a rigorous inspection process, including buckets, gaskets, and overspeed disks. Fixed-angle rotors are assessed for body integrity, while swinging bucket rotors are checked for proper weight distribution. Whenever possible, each rotor is run in a compatible centrifuge to confirm flawless performance, ensuring you receive equipment that meets the highest standards.
