The Labconco Freezone 12 is designed for moderate aqueous sample loads. The system removes a maximum of 8 liters of water in 24 hours and features brushed stainless steel and powder-coated steel exterior; stainless steel collector and coil; LCD that displays system operating parameters, set-up parameters and alarm messages; 1 hp CFC-free refrigeration system; red alarm light; LED vacuum and temperature wave graphs; patented moisture sensor; vacuum control/break valve; rear-mounted RS-232 port; automatic start-up switch for collector cool-down and vacuum pull-down with manual override switches; hot gas defrost and switch; and a retractable collector drain line.

The FreeZone Stoppering Tray Dryer has three shelves, each measuring 1.6" x 12", that hold serum bottles or vials. When the stoppering control is activated, the shelves raise via an expanding diaphragm that permits stoppering under vacuum of containers on all three shelves. Includes brushed stainless steel and epoxy-coated steel exterior, 3/4" thick acrylic door, 3 temperature probes, 3" diameter outlet for connection to FreeZone System, 1 HP CFC-free refrigeration system and 1000-watt electric heater for cooling and heating fluid medium circulating through channels in the shelves from -40°C to +40°C, LCD for display of system and probe temperatures in °C or °F, vacuum in mBar, Pa or Torr, and the segment of the program in progress, Microprocessor-controlled temperature ramp and hold programming from -40°C to +40°C and memory to store five programs and repetition of identical protocols, control panel with operating switches, stoppering control know, vacuum release valve control knob and 1/8" OD backfill port, red LED alarm indicator, rear-mounted RS232 port and interconnect cable, and power switch. Vacuum pump required with displacement of 144 lpm or larger.
