The Labconco FreeZone Plus 12 liter freeze dryer is a console style model with a cascade refrigeration system designed to handle light to moderate loads of eutectic point samples. This system can remove up to 4L of water in a 24 hour period and includes rushed stainless steel and powder-coated steel exterior, a stainless steel collector chamber and coil and an LCD that displays system operating parameters, set-up parameters and alarm messages.

Other features include two 3/4 hp CFC-free refrigeration systems, a red alarm light, an LED vacuum and temperature wave graphs, patented moisture sensor, a vacuum control/break valve, a rear-mounted RS-232 port, an automatic start-up switch for collector cool-down and vacuum pull-down with manual override switches, a hot gas defrost and switch, a retractable collector drain line and a 3" diameter port for connection of drying accessory. Electrical configuration is 230V, 60Hz, and 9.0 amp.

While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests, please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.
