Looking for a reliable, easy-to-use programmable thermal cycler that is compact enough to fit onto even already crowded lab benches? Here’s a great option: the MJ Research/Bio-Rad PTC-200. The thermal range of the PTC-100 is -5°C to 105°C and the unit is accurate to withing +/- 0.3°C of the programmed target (measured at 60oC). The ramping rate on this thermal cycler is a speedy 1.2°C per second. The MJ Research PTC-100 can store up to 360 typical programs of up to 100 steps with a total memory capacity of 1600 steps among all programs. The control panel includes operation keys, status indicator lights, an LCD window for displaying programming and machine status text, and a numeric keypad for entering values into programs. Not only is this little machine a dependable solution for your PCR work, it’s also affordable.

Most of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.
