The universally applicable lab oven U is Memmert’s classic appliance for temperature control in science, research, and material tests in industry. The technologically perfected masterpiece made of high-quality, hygienic, easy-to-clean stainless-steel leaves nothing to be desired in terms of ventilation and control technology, overtemperature protection and precisely tuned heating technology. The UF260Plus has an internal volume of 9 cu ft, uses forced air circulation, and has TwinDisplay, which allows you to program more complex processes.
The Memmert UF260plus is ideal for material tests, ageing of computer chips, run complex experiments with highly sensitive loads, drying or tempering electronic components, hardening plastic resin or heating plasticine.
Air exchange rates and air flap position can be controlled electronically at the ControlCOCKPIT. More inlet and outlet openings lead to a higher air exchange and reduced drying times. Various applications recommend or even require controlled ventilation, such as drying powder, sand or corn, reducing the ventilation prevents undesired swirls.
Temperature deviations caused by fresh air can influence sample characteristics or prolong drying. In Memmert universal ovens, the fresh air is therefore fed through a pre-heating chamber and introduced into the working chamber.
Most of our equipment
is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test ovens using a calibrated digital chart recorder to verify the accuracy of temperature controls and readouts and run the unit under vacuum to ensure chamber integrity. We typically leave an oven under vacuum for 24 hours to make sure the pressure holds. We replace any hardware or parts as is necessary and clean all incubators thoroughly prior to shipment.
