Utilizing Nikon's industry-leading CFI60 optical system and LED illumination, the Nikon ECLIPSE Ts2, diascopic illumination inverted microscope offers brilliantly clear images, enabling more efficient cell culture observation and documentation. Furthermore, a newly developed contrast observation method and improved operability enhances its use for routine laboratory work.
LED light sources and built-in Diascopic illumination systems reduce setup time and allow users to concentrate on their research. It is alignment-free, resulting in faster setup and consistent results. LEDs also eliminate frequent bulb replacements, saving the user time and money.
The Emboss Contrast is a cost-effective optical technique which does not require costly optics. Utilizing just a bright-field objective lens and two contrast sliders, Emboss Contrast provides pseudo-three dimensional and glare-free images for thick specimens such as iPS cells which would normally suffer from halos with conventional phase contrast methods. Additionally, Emboss Contrast is compatible with both glass and plastic culture chambers, making it a very versatile observation technique.
This Nikon Eclipse Ts2 Diascopic Illumination Inverted Microscope is used and reconditioned. We bring in a professional optics technician to thoroughly assess the functionality of every component in your microscope. This includes inspecting the objectives, moving parts, eyepieces, illumination system, and all other critical components to ensure optimal performance.
If you have any specific requirements or particular concerns, please let us know. We are more than happy to accommodate your requests and ensure they are fully addressed during the testing and verification process.

We do not sell objectives separately but include them with the purchase of a scope. Each product description specifies which objectives we include with the microscope. Objectives are tested along with the Eclipse Ts2 to ensure compatibility and proper function.
Can this microscope be used in a tissue culture hood?
Yes! You should absolutely measure and check the specifications to make sure the Eclipse Ts2 will fit inside the specific biosafety cabinet that you’re using, but the low-stage design and ergonomics of this scope make it a good fit with most BSCs.

The LED provides approximately 60,000 hours of, with no need for bulb replacement.
Do you sell cameras for the Nikon Eclipse Ts2?
If the product description does not include a camera, then the unit is not being sold with a camera. Please contact our sales team for information on availability of accessories.
