The Panasonic Sanyo MDF series, model U334-PA biomedical freezer is designed for short or intermediate term storage to -30°C. These units are constructed with high-performance laboratory and clinical-grade refrigeration systems and are commonly used in medical, biotechnology and industrial labs for storage of blood components, enzymes, culture media, reagents, specimens and vaccines, among other applications. The rigid polyurethane foam insulation provides impressive temperature stability and temp recovery when the chamber door is opened. The compressor is a 200W hermitic type and the temperature sensor is a thermistor.

Most of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians use calibrated digital chart recorders to verify the accuracy of temperature controls and readouts of all ultralow freezers, making sure that the units hold temperature to within the manufacturer specified tolerance. We replace any hardware or parts as is necessary and if needed replace refrigerant. We clean all freezers thoroughly prior to shipment.
