Many laboratory applications require temperatures below ambient while maintaining the precision and stability of a laboratory incubator. The RevSci IncuFridge 253Pro Refrigerated Incubator combines accurate heating and cooling in a compact benchtop platform, allowing laboratories to perform incubation, refrigerated storage, and temperature-controlled testing within a single instrument. Its thermoelectric refrigeration system eliminates the vibration associated with traditional compressor-based cooling while providing quiet, dependable operation across a wide operating temperature range.
Designed for research, microbiology, food safety, environmental testing, and quality control laboratories, the IncuFridge 253Pro maintains temperatures from 1°C to 75°C, making it suitable for both refrigerated and elevated-temperature applications. A digital touch-screen controller allows users to create programmable temperature profiles, monitor chamber performance, and store operating data, while Wi-Fi connectivity supports remote monitoring in compatible installations. Purchasing a refurbished RevSci IncuFridge 253Pro from American Instrument Exchange provides laboratories with versatile refrigerated incubation equipment at substantial savings compared with purchasing new equipment.

Unlike conventional laboratory incubators that operate only above ambient temperature, the RevSci IncuFridge 253Pro provides both active heating and thermoelectric cooling within a single chamber. This versatility allows laboratories to perform microbiological incubation, refrigerated stability testing, environmental sample conditioning, and temperature-sensitive research without purchasing separate pieces of equipment.
The thermoelectric cooling system provides stable chamber temperatures without the vibration associated with compressor-driven refrigeration systems. This quiet operation helps protect sensitive laboratory samples while maintaining excellent temperature stability throughout extended incubation periods.
The RevSci IncuFridge 253Pro is commonly used for:
Microbiology laboratories
BOD testing
Environmental testing
Water quality analysis
Food safety testing
Pharmaceutical quality control
Stability studies
Seed germination studies
Cell and tissue research
Diagnostic laboratories
Educational laboratories
General laboratory incubation and refrigerated storage
Many laboratories pair the IncuFridge 253Pro with biosafety cabinets for aseptic sample preparation, centrifuges for sample processing, laboratory refrigerators for additional cold storage, and ultra-low freezers for long-term sample preservation.
The RevSci IncuFridge 253Pro is well suited for biotechnology companies, pharmaceutical manufacturers, environmental testing laboratories, food and beverage quality control facilities, water testing laboratories, universities, research institutes, and clinical laboratories requiring both refrigerated and elevated-temperature incubation.
Its compact footprint and broad temperature range make it particularly valuable for laboratories seeking maximum flexibility while conserving bench space.
The IncuFridge 253Pro utilizes thermoelectric technology to accurately maintain chamber temperatures from 1°C to 75°C with excellent stability and uniformity. The digital touch-screen controller allows users to program temperature profiles, monitor operating conditions, and store experimental data for improved documentation and reproducibility.
Wi-Fi capability provides additional flexibility by allowing compatible systems to remotely monitor operating conditions, while the rear access port accommodates external probes or monitoring devices without disturbing chamber temperature. Combined with vibration-free cooling and programmable operation, the IncuFridge 253Pro provides exceptional versatility for modern laboratory applications.
The 53-liter (1.9 cubic foot) chamber of the RevSci IncuFridge 253Pro provides flexible storage and incubation space for laboratories performing microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, pharmaceutical quality control, and research applications requiring both refrigerated and elevated-temperature conditions.
The chamber accommodates Petri dishes, agar plates, culture tubes, media bottles, environmental samples, water quality samples, seed germination trays, laboratory reagents, and other temperature-sensitive materials. Two removable shelves allow users to configure the chamber for a variety of sample sizes while maintaining adequate airflow throughout the incubator.
For optimum temperature uniformity, samples should be evenly distributed throughout the chamber with sufficient clearance around containers to allow unrestricted air circulation. The thermoelectric heating and cooling system promotes stable chamber temperatures while minimizing vibration, making the IncuFridge 253Pro well suited for sensitive laboratory applications where consistent environmental conditions are essential.
The RevSci IncuFridge 253Pro utilizes thermoelectric (Peltier) heating and cooling technology, eliminating the need for a conventional compressor-based refrigeration system. This design provides quiet operation with fewer moving parts, reducing vibration while minimizing routine maintenance requirements.
The solid-state thermoelectric system efficiently transitions between heating and cooling modes while the microprocessor controller continuously regulates chamber temperature across the entire operating range. Combined with the insulated cabinet and programmable control system, the IncuFridge 253Pro delivers dependable laboratory performance while helping reduce operating costs over years of routine use.
Its simplified mechanical design makes it an excellent choice for laboratories seeking reliable refrigerated incubation without the maintenance requirements commonly associated with compressor-driven refrigeration systems.
