The 6970 EFM Freezer/Mill is engineered to grind the toughest and most sensitive samples.  The 6970EFM’s unique design has only one moving part, that of magnetically driven impactor.  Plus, it provides the ability to increase throughput with two large front-loading grinding chambers accommodating for a wide variety of sample capacities from 0.1-100g per grinding chamber. Contact with Liquid Nitrogen is eliminated using a totally enclosed liquid nitrogen auto-fill system.  Ideal for grinding samples such as bone, teeth, plant and animal tissues, textiles, plastics, pharmaceuticals and much more.  Samples are maintained at Liquid Nitrogen temperatures, maintaining the integrity of the sample.  The 6970EFM is operated by a movable color touch screen control panel with new program functions which allow the user to save up to 10 different grinding protocols.

Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests, please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.
