The Thermo 8270 has a storage capacity of 23.5 cu feet, and a temperature range of -50°C to -86°C. A dual door system gives users of this -80 lab freezer access to frequently used samples above, which items less needed can remain in the lower area undisturbed.  It allows you to store both short, and long-term samples efficiently. It features a centralized information center, including microprocessor control and monitoring system, which ensures that all controls and displays are easy to reach and read, close to eye level.

This unit is built to last and stand up to rough working conditions. The exterior cabinet is constructed of heavy gauge cold-rolled steel and a powder coat paint finish, the exterior resists chipping and rust while the redesigned refrigeration system improves temperature control and increases reserve capacity. The microprocessor control and monitoring systems with an additional power management system with audible and visual alarms alert users to any problem with freezer. 5” foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation improves energy efficiency by reducing the need for power consumption and maintaining a consistent temperature setpoint. Additionally, the triple door gasket provides a longer holding time in the event of a door opening.  A rechargeable battery provides back-up power to the alarm system if a power failure occurs. In short, the Thermo 8207 is a reliable freezer that’s going to keep your samples safe and sound.

The interior is polished stainless set over foamed in place polyurethane insulation that reduces energy consumption of this ultra-low temperature freezer and allows it to reach set temperatures quickly. Inside solid stainless-steel shelves are durable enough to handle a full load, while 4 interior compartment doors reduce temperature loss of compartments not being accessed. The 8720 has both RS-323 and 2-20 milliamp analog outputs, for connection to a computer, recorder or a monitoring device independent of the unit. While on the exterior there is a handy storage pocket, giving you a location for your inventory control logs, IQ/QQ procedures or daily logs.

All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians use calibrated digital chart recorders to verify the accuracy of temperature controls and readouts of all ultralow freezers, making sure that the units hold temperature to within the manufacturer specified tolerance. We replace any hardware or parts as is necessary and if needed replace refrigerant. We clean all freezers thoroughly prior to shipment.
