The Super-Nuova hot plate is designed for laboratory procedures requiring precise control of temperature. It includes a digital display for monitoring the temperature. The hot plate can produce accurately controlled top plate temperatures through 370°C. The temperature is controlled at the plate surface by an internal Type K thermocouple sensor, or the solution temperature may be controlled by utilizing the included PFA encapsulated, ungrounded, stainless-steel, Type K thermocouple probe.

Thermo Scientific Super-Nuova units feature a powerful motor for quick startup without lurching, and a convenient, "walk away" timer powers down the unit to finish the sample run unattended or prevent accidental overheating.

Most of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.

We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit.
