The Thermo Forma 3851 environmental chamber has a temperature range from 0° to 60°C adjustable in 0.1C° increments and controllable relative humidity via steam generator from ambient to 95% at 37°C. The digital controls allow for programmable digital ramp and soak cycles for both temperature and relative humidity while the side plenums provide true laminar airflow for increased temperature uniformity throughout the chamber. Defrost and refrigeration cycles are controllable manually. Safety alarms for over and under-temperature conditions and out of parameter humidity levels. The Thermo Forma 3851 environmental chamber features temperature uniformity of ±0.3°C at 37°C. The interior chamber dimensions are 60”H x 31”Wx 27”D and overall exterior dimensions are 88.5”H x 38”W x 32”D.

This Thermo Forma 3851 is equipped with two reinforced stainless steel shelves that can each accommodate a shaker with platforms as large as 18” x 18”, thus creating a controlled environment incubator shaker with relative humidity control.

Most of the equipment we sell is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.
