The Thermo Sorvall Legend 21R is compatible with a variety of rotors (sold separately – call for details) and accommodates 36 x 0.5mL microtubes, 24 x 2 mL tubes, or 8 x 8 PCR strips.
Rotors feature ClickSeal biocontainment lids that click into place, ensuring securely contained samples. The Thermo Legend 21R is also compact and the space-saving design has a small footprint so that the microcentrifuge doesn’t take up valuable bench space in the lab.

Most of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test the performance of all centrifuges. We check for proper balance on the rotating assembly. The bearings, seals and gaskets on the spindle assembly are in good shape, and the controls work properly.
If the centrifuge is refrigerated we also test to make sure that the machine reaches and hold temperature properly. We measure all tolerances. We clean the exterior and interior of all units. If the unit is being purchased with a rotor we test the rotor/centrifuge combination together.
